I started the studio in 2024 after five years working across in-house, agency, and freelance roles, often balancing a mix of all three at once. Along the way, I learned how to collaborate with different kinds of teams, adapt across industries, and build thoughtful design systems that feel both strategic and personal.
Today, Freehouse focuses on branding, web design, and illustration for businesses, organizations, and creatives looking for work with personality and purpose. Over the past few years, I’ve worked with clients across outdoor recreation, conservation, hospitality, music, education, and creative industries - from trail organizations and environmental nonprofits to coffee roasters, breweries, artists, agencies, and small businesses.
Freehouse was built to be flexible by design - a studio that allows me to work from anywhere, whether that’s at my desk, on the road, or somewhere between trailheads. That flexibility is a big part of how I approach both work and life. I’m constantly drawn to new places, whether it’s hiking local loops in Pennsylvania or traveling further to experience landscapes, cultures, and communities that shape how I see and create. Those experiences naturally feed back into my design practice, influencing everything from visual storytelling to how I think about systems, pace, and detail.
I’m especially drawn to projects connected to the outdoors, community, and culture. A lot of my work is inspired by the same curiosity that shows up in my time outside of design - hiking, camping, road trips, longboarding, live music, and photography. I’ve been spending more time learning photography as a way to document places and moments along the way, and it’s become a parallel practice to design - observing, composing, and noticing the small details that often end up shaping the bigger picture.

When I’m not behind the screen, you’ll usually find me outside - longboarding a quiet path, exploring a new trail, road-tripping somewhere unfamiliar, or chasing good light for photos along the way. That sense of movement and curiosity shows up in my work through bold visuals, playful details, and storytelling that aims to feel both intentional and alive.
If you’re a passionate startup, a fellow creative, or an organization doing good for the planet, I’d love to help bring your ideas to life with design that’s both strategic and expressive.
